Other surface treatments

Passivation of stainless steels

Guarantees good corrosion resistance of stainless steels by the controlled formation of a layer of high quality, protective oxides.

Uses:

To reinforce and restore the chemical resistance of stainless steels, degraded by welding during part manufacturing operations such as grinding, polishing or stripping, by removing the ferrous oxides likely to corrode.

Advantages:

Decontamination of stainless steels

Bath capacity :

(L) 1500 mm x (l) 760 mm x (P) 960 mm

Passivation

Electrolytic polishing on stainless steel

This operation is sometimes integrated in a range of treatments as a complement to passivation, or independently, and assures exceptional quality for subsequent depositions such as brightness and adhesion.

Advantages:

Improved corrosion resistance
Surface or depth deburring
Brightening, by removing minute irregularities
Reduced friction
Elimination of impurities
Absence of internal stresses

Electrolytic polishing
