Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT DOES THE LABEL “LOT ECO” (ECO BATCH) ON QUOTES MEAN?

Lot éco corresponds to a batch size no longer subject to minimum charge (€57).

WHY INVOICE AN FAI FLAT RATE FOR EACH NEW PART?

At AÉROPROTEC, the FAI flat rate corresponds to administrative fees related to the initial production launch of a part (change of methods, creation of a range, etc.). It is therefore quoted and invoiced for each new part.

WHAT IS AN “FT NIV 3”?

AÉROPROTEC is Nadcap-certified for dye-penetrant testing and magnetic particle testing. This means that a technical sheet must be created for each new part undergoing NDT for monitoring purposes; this technical sheet must then be validated by a level-3 operator. This document called “FT Niv 3” is appended to your quotes and invoices.
